Notes
John was born in Warren, Ohio, September 12, 1864, son of Henry Crosby King (17 September 1813-11 May 1861) and Eliza Drennen King (1820- 15 October 1868). He was enrolled in the Union Army on August 31st, 1862, and served in Company C, 19th Regiment of the Ohio Infantry. John was discharged June 9, 1865 in Nashville, Tennessee. He died of consumption in January, 1873, and was buried in Old Mahoning Cemetery.
