She was employed as an instructor at the Crossnore School, Crossnore, N.C. Thelma died December 13, 1996 in Jackson, Michigan. These materials were sent to Judith Campbell, a collateral relative of the Thayer/Church family when the new owners of the Church family home found them in the attic.
