Thelma was born August 30, 1902 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Florence Ellen Thayer Church (1878-1952) and Rufus Ames Church (1877-1958). She was employed as an instructor at the Crossnore School, Crossnore, N.C. Thelma died December 13, 1996 in Jackson, Michigan.
These materials were sent to Judith Campbell, a collateral relative of the Thayer/Church family when the new owners of the Church family home found them in the attic. The items are thought to have belonged to Thelma, daughter of Rufus and Florence.
