Note
This photograph was taken by Theodore Byrnes (1919-1984), a resident of Warren who lived near Quinby Park and who photographed the water tower during its construction. The tower remains in place, just off Parkman Road SW. According to the City of Warren Water Department, the water tower is a 500,000 gallon welded steel elevated tank of the radial cone type, erected in 1947 at Union Street on Quinby Alley. It is 60 feet in diameter.
Gift of Maureen Byrnes.
