&lt;p&gt;Benjamin E. Fowler of Delightful, Southington Township, was born in Nelson on August 8, 1875.  He served in the Spanish American War and was a painter and paper hanger by trade.  He and his wife Lena had three children, Thelma, Dallas and Rose.  Benjamin was killed while attempting to put out a fire on January 22, 1928, and is buried in Southington Center Cemetery.&lt;/p&gt;
