St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church was located on one southeast corner acre of Jacob (1817-1860) and Wilhelmina (1815-1886) Klingensmith’s Farm at Hewitt-Gifford Road in Warren Township, near Kibler Toot Road. The Klingensmith family can be found on this land as early as the 1850s.
