Born in 1912, he was first employed by Warren's City Parks Department for thirty five years as an expert on trees, and took part in the planting of many of the trees in Courthouse Square. He began work at Packard Music hall in 1955, and acted as manager there from 1963 to 1973. He died in April of 1973 following his retirement.
