@article{GENERAL, recid = {2052}, title = {An anniversary of the Central Christian Church, Warren, Ohio.}, number = {GENERAL}, note = {Florence Callender is fourth from left. The original Disciples Church was founded September 3, 1803 and met in private homes until a church building was erected at 134 High Street NW in 1823. It was rebuilt with spires in 1853, and a parsonage was added. In June of 1899 a new church was dedicated on the same site. The Warren Weekly Tribune noted that the name of the church changed to Central Christian Church of Warren in 1904 (eventually dropping the "of Warren"). In 1951 a new church was completed at 2051 East Market Street that included a wing for religious education. The old church on High Street was occupied for many years by the Local 1375 United Steelworkers of America, and was razed in August, 1967. During this time the cornerstone, laid at the dedication of the 1889 church, was opened and found to house early church documents.}, url = {http://trumbullmemory.org/record/2052}, }
