Dewey Brenton McVicker (1898-1943) was born in West Salem (Wayne County) and was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1922. He was a popular Common Pleas judge, was active in Warren city government and civic associations, chaired the County Democratic Committee, sat on the Trumbull County Election Board, and served as President of the Trumbull County Bar Association in 1932. McVicker died young of a heart attack in 1943 and was buried in Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna.
