The 1900 federal census shows a Carlos C. and Ellis E. Pipher, born January 26, 1888, living in Lake Milton, Mahoning County, Ohio with their father Charles, mother Eliza, and sibling Elva. Find-A-Grave shows Charles’s headstone in the Lutheran Cemetery in Newton Falls, where he is buried (d. 1955) with his wife Helen. Ellis married Martia Vere Osborne in 1911, died March 17, 1971, and is buried in the Jackson Township Cemetery, North Jackson, Mahoning County.
