      note = {Elsie Eliza Rhodes Jones was born January 5, 1867 to Lewis  Rhodes (1835-1915) and Jerusha Tyrell (1846-1893), also the  parents of Orpha, Vina, and Celesta.  She married Myron  Rogers Jones (1867-1940) on October 9, 1893, and they had  one child, Myron Robert Jones (1901-1983).  Elsie died on  July 15, 1944 in Fowler Township.
	
Orpha Rhodes Strosnider  married Thomas Strosnider on December 31, 1898, and they  had one daughter, Irene (1904-1997).  


This item was  included in an album of cabinet cards, many unidentified.  According to the donor, the Stoddard family came from  Scotland to the Johnston and Fowler area, purchasing land  near the intersection of Bradley Brownlee Road and  Stoddard-Hayes Road, Fowler Township. Many family members  are buried in the Johnston Township cemetery.
