      note = {Laura Locke was born June 23, 1892 in Sharpesville, PA,  the daughter of John and Emmeline Frye Locke.  She married  John Post, and they had a son, Joseph W. Post who died of  wounds sustained in a domestic quarrel in 1974.  Laura died  December, 1986 in Sharon General Hospital.  She had been  residing in the Orange Village Nursing Home, Masury, Ohio.   

Laura was the best friend of Wright's grandmother, Grace  Hendricks Wright Schindler (1890-1958), who allowed her to  name Barbara's father, Merle Mona Wright.
