We believe this is Dr. Wells S. Horton, who was born September, 1865 in Trumbull County. His parents were Wells M. Horton (1828-1869) and Francis Stephenson (1828-1888), and he had a brother Charlie (1862-1863). Wells married Coral Musetta Langley (1871-1947), and they had two children, Eva May Horton Lowe (1894-1981) and Marian M. Horton Allen (1902-1964). While Wells and his wife lived in Cuyahoga County in 1935, they later moved to Cortland (1940 census). Wells died on October 26, 1956 in Knox County, Ohio, but is buried in the Johnston Township cemetery.
